For this project, I designed, created and produced an engaging and interactive one-stop place where employees could obtain the latest news, timeline, resources, training schedule and FAQs on the change management project the Company was undertaking. Designed with distinct branding that complimented yet stood apart from the other areas of the site and introducing new features for maximum engagement. News articles for the microsite, created on WordPress, are colorful and modern. These posts were among those most visited and liked during the year.

As lead designer of Internal Communications for a global apparel and accessories company, I used market research, stakeholder input and employee feedback to design and execute a site refresh offering a more engaging experience for users as well as achieving multiple business goals. All while saving time and resources for the department with automated features and dynamic feeds. The site is built on WordPress and includes many custom widgets.
The new site features a ton of new interactive, engaging, and functional improvements. You’ll see a social media feed to keep visitors informed as well as solving for gaps in content between internal and external sites. In addition, I updated taxonomy for better UX, more visuals to accompany widgets on the right, and some great set-it and forget-it feeds. The Quick Poll also allows visitors to share thoughts, ideas and opinions while giving stakeholders a tool for gathering feedback.
The out-of-the box options that came with this 3rd party’s services didn’t cut it for my leading lifestyle brand collective who was releasing a global update for an employee ethics website. They wanted a highly branded, elevated look to accompany the global release. I worked with a designer and web developers to deliver a refresh that achieved the simple, timeless, and on-brand look the company wanted.

From 2016-2019 I directed and led all graphic production for Michael Kors’ new, global employee website. I also managed content and production for the Company Timeline, Editorial Picks, HR Offerings, Careers, Learning & Development, Anniversaries, in addition to designing for and integrating all new pages or sections.
When Weil, Gotshal and Manges updated their Sharepoint intranet platform, they asked me to refresh their design. Using brand principals from their external-facing website, I designed a fresh and modern update with including CSS and custom graphics.

To assist producers, I created easy-to-read guidelines for choosing which style to select when publishing new pages and webparts.
Foulger Pratt was using an out-of-the box Sharepoint Cloud site for their intranet. They wanted to customize it quickly without major code changes. I designed a refresh skin based on their external website branding then updated their intranet with custom graphics, a few page article tweaks, and new CSS.
When a long-time, repeat client updated their external website brand, by way of an agency, they needed help applying consistent graphic treatments to banners as well as detailed QA site-wide. In addition to editing content on the new CMS, I produced graphics, banners, and corrected style issues in the CSS. I also conducted meticulous user testing and kept a detailed bug report.
When my client refreshed their branding, they needed updates to several micro-sites. I used the design principles created by the agency for producing graphic, HTML, and CSS refreshes so employees would have cohesive experience between sites and platforms.
Trip down memory lane: A long-term client wanted a new site for one of their subsidiary businesses. They asked me to design something colorful and fun that showcased their digital services to print clients. I designed the concepts in Adobe Photoshop and hand-coded more than 20 pages. This was pre-Dreamweaver/Squarespace/WordPress ;)
